These large scale paintings on 'linen' were referenced from macro images of rust I photographed while working on film sets at 

Terminal City Ironworks 1906 Franklin St., Vancouver BC

Terminal City is the nickname for Vancouver as it is the western terminus for Canada's railway system. The name is also ironically synonymous with the death of 19 workers June 17,1958 working on the  2nd Narrows Bridge- Renamed the Ironworkers Memorial Bridge.
